Use of the K900 cleaning robot at Peri Deutschland

Use of the K900 cleaning robot at Peri Vertrieb Deutschland GmbH & Co. KG:
Reduction of fine dust and efficient operational integration

The K900 dry cleaning robot has been cleaning at Peri GmbH in Weisshorn since October 2022. Peri GmbH is a leading company in the production of formwork and scaffolding systems, and as a service provider in all aspects of a construction project, they play a central role in the industry.

Antonio Passaro, a maintenance specialist who has worked at Peri GmbH since 2005, has been looking after the K900 robot from the very beginning. After a successful test phase in 2021, the K900 was officially put into operation in October 2022.

THE GOAL OF REDUCING FINE DUST POLLUTION HAS BEEN FULLY ACHIEVED

The main objective, reducing the fine dust pollution, has been achieved. Since its commissioning, the K900 has worked a total of 1,700 hours, navigating an area of 1,200 square meters, and cleaned a total area of 263,323 square meters. It has been seamlessly integrated into Peri GmbH’s shift operation and works mainly at night and on weekends. Thanks to its continuous cleaning, the K900 has brought about a significant reduction in fine dust pollution in the air, which is particularly noticeable when the cleaning cycle is interrupted.

The robot has successfully reduced the amount of dirt and dust, which has contributed to a generally cleaner environment. Daily maintenance of the robot itself requires less than 10 minutes for cleaning and emptying.

ROBUST PERFORMANCE IN A DEMANDING ENVIRONMENT: THE IMPORTANCE OF TARGETED MAINTENANCE

In an extremely demanding environment, the robot proves its worth with its robust construction and sophisticated design, especially when dealing with dust exposure and sensor blow-off. Nevertheless, regular, and professional maintenance is crucial to maintain the robot’s performance. Thanks to the reliable care provided by Antonio Passaro, the K900 has a long service life at Peri GmbH despite this demanding environment.

Antonio Passaro from Peri GmbH sums up with satisfaction: “Overall, we are extremely satisfied with the results of the K900 cleaning robot. The significant reduction in fine dust pollution and the efficient maintenance of the device, in combination with the remote maintenance provided by KEMARO AG and the support of its trading partner, Schöler Fördertechnik AG, make it a valuable addition to our business.”
